Psychedelic is a series exploring the creative possibilities of digital illustration tools and the effects they can produce in digital painting. This is the first series in which the artist works with Procreate, experimenting with its functions to create graphic imagery. Trained as a hands-on, tactile artist, she found decision-making challenging when using the many features a digital device offers. Through this series, the artist intentionally challenges herself, navigating choices and experimenting with visual outcomes in a new digital medium.
