The pastel drawing workshop is a part of the Creative Gatherings, a collaboration between Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Hong Kong Creatives. It is designed

to encourage creativity and provide a hands-on experience for participants.

 

Pastels are used as the main tool in this workshop, and the participants will begin by practicing the three fundamental design elements: points, lines, and surface. In the second half of the workshop, the participants will apply their newfound skills to still life drawing, where they will have the opportunity to practice and refine their techniques.
